Upgrade your home phone experience with these features

Caller ID Name and Number

Allows you to see the name and telephone number, if available, of the person who is calling. This feature gives you the advantage of seeing the calls you missed while you were out. Telephone equipped with Call ID or a special display unit is required.

Call Waiting ID

Allows you to see the name and number of the person calling while you’re already on the phone.

Call Waiting

Alerts you with a beep during a telephone conversation that another call is coming in, giving you many of the advantages of a second line for a fraction of the cost. It makes missed calls & busy signals things of the past! And it’s so simple to use!

▥ To end an existing call & answer a waiting call, hang up, then allow the telephone to ring & answer it.
▥ To hold an existing call & answer a waiting call, press “phone” or “flash” or depress the switchhook.
▥ To alternate between calls, press “phone” or “flash” or depress the switchhook.
▥ To disconnect calls, just hang up.

Call Forwarding

▥ Press 72#, then listen for three beeps & a steady dial tone.
▥ Dial the telephone number to which you want calls to be forwarded.
▥ Press #, wait for ringing & answer. (If no one answers or the line is busy, repeat Steps 1 through 3 immediately, listen for three beeps & a steady dial tone, then hang up.)
▥ To turn off CALL FORWARDING, press 73# then listen for three beeps & hang up.

Note: Calls forwarded to long distance telephone numbers will be charged to the forwarding phone number. A short ring or a distinctive dial tone may be provided as a reminder that the service is activated. To change the forwarding number, you must first turn the feature off.

Three-Way Calling

As the name implies, you can have a three-way conversation—without a fancy phone system. Makes sense for conversations with business associates, family & friends! To set up a Three-Way Call:

▥ Connect with the first person. Press “phone” or “flash” or depress the switchhook, listen for three beeps & a steady dial tone. (The first call is placed on hold.)
▥ Dial the second person’s number. (If it’s busy or no one answers, “flash” or depress the switchhook twice to reconnect to the first call.) After the second person answers, “flash” or depress the switchhook to complete the three-way call.
Note: You may privately converse with the second person as long as you wish before connecting with the first person. After you establish the three-way call, you can press “flash” or “phone” or depress the switchhook to drop the third party at any time.
